So, I just came back from Miami. It was so fun spending time with some close girlfriends. It was something we had never done before and by the end of it, we were already planning the next one. We are all single moms and it was great being able to get away to let loose a little bit. When you are the only person in the household bringing in income, you have to constantly be on "work mode". The success of the household depends on it. Anyway, enough of that, let's get into my money lessons from the trip:
Oh, the dreaded student loan! I made a video about some information you should know...
I just came back from a vacation this past weekend. We had soo much fun! My boyfriend "won" a 3 day, 2 night vacation in Virginia that we decided to take advantage of. Who wouldn't want a free vacation?! Well, of course it came with a couple of strings attached. Here is what I learned:

If I had $1 for every person that I talked to that was unhappy at their job I would be a millionaire (ok maybe a thousandaire) but nevertheless we go in day after day usually living paycheck to paycheck. Recently, I quit my job. It was abrupt and no, I didn't have another job to go to. I just wanted a better quality of life for me and my boys.
I just came back from traveling Monday. I hope you all did not miss me too much! I decided to take a trip to DC. Visiting the many museums has been on my bucket list since high school. I am a true nerd! So, for this birthday, I decided to go ahead and cross it off! But, booking this trip and being able to reflect by myself, brought out some good financial prospectives. Enough with the backstory, let's begin!
